Spacial planning for London College of Communication Post-Graduate Shows, designed by PLUSMINUS StudioLCC Post-Graduate Shows Spacial Planning

After learning about PLUSMINUS Studio’s work with London College of Communication on the Post-Graduate Shows, I decided to reach out and find out if they need any help.
I was offered a role in helping out with spacial planning - my job was to mock-up different sizes of cardboard around the university, as well as different sizes of fonts in order to see what works best for course and wayfinding signage. As PLUSMINUS is a Berlin-based studio, and couldn’t come in to do this themselves, this proved to be very useful. By experimenting with different sizes of assets, I could report back to them with what works best, both in terms of aesthetics, as well as accessibility and legibility.
After mocking up all the signage they needed, I also took high-quality ‘flat’ pictures of the LCC building, together with an A3 paper for size reference. This was in order for them to be able to mock-up their final designs and have one final preview of what everything would look like before sending off the final designs.
