Karosel Brand Identity & Touchpoints
Karosel is a reusable menstrual pads brand, made out of recycled T-shirts, and that focuses on empowering people who menstruate, breaking down taboos, and sustainability. The brand is inspired by the punk movement, both in terms of its rebellious attitude, as well as the loud and bold graphics. Linocut printing was the medium I used both for the wordmark, as well as the creation of the patterns - the texture and roughness of those is a nod to the messiness and feelings that often come with periods, but that media has tried to conceal all-throughout history. The screenprinting service I created aims to end fashion waste, aiming to even reach people who don’t menstruate.
